(she/they) is a writer and editor with over a decade of experience in print and digital media.

Most recently, they served as developmental editor at Penguin Random House, helping authors hone stories for children that have received awards and recognition from Lambda Literary, New York Public Library, American Library Association, Kirkus Reviews, Publishers Weekly, Booklist, Good Housekeeping, and more. Prior to PRH, she worked at National Public Radio, PEN/Faulkner Foundation, and was a bookseller at Sankofa Cafe.

Her work often highlights social-emotional learning, our relationship to the natural world, history, art, and culture. They’re a graduate of Howard University.
